The Section Blue H7 FPV Flight Controller is a 4S - 12S compact autopilot designed for drones, robotics and development applications. Built around the STM32H753 processor, the flight controller provides the computational horsepower required for modern flight control tasks and supports established open-source firmware stacks.

Our design integrates essential flight sensors and interfaces within a compact 37 × 37 mm form factor. An onboard calibrated BMI270 IMU and BMP581 pressure sensor provide the core sensing required for flight stabilization and navigation. Familiar connector interfaces with available solder pads, USB-C connectivity and microSD slot for logging and DroneCAN capability enable efficient system configuration, data capture and expansion.

The electrical design incorporates ESD protection on external signal lines and controlled routing for high-speed interfaces to ensure optimal performance. Integrated monitoring of key power rails allows firmware-level visibility into system voltage conditions during operation. Additionally, the IMU is powered by a dedicated LDO to isolate it from other system loads and minimize the impact of power-supply noise on sensor operation.

The PCB stack-up with dedicated power and ground planes supports signal integrity and minimizes interference between sensitive subsystems and power circuitry. This design approach ensures stable sensor performance and reliable operation in demanding environments.

Each flight controller is fully tested and verified for power, signal integrity, and sensor functionality to ensure consistent performance out of the box. As part of our production process, every BMI270 IMU is calibrated according to Bosch’s recommended procedure for optimal sensor accuracy and stable flight performance.
