
AUAV M25125 DroneCAN Airspeed Sensor
Our DroneCAN M25125 airspeed sensor is built around the advanced Amphenol All Sensors M25125 differential pressure element, delivering high-resolution airflow measurement across a wide operating range. Designed for UAV and robotics applications, this next-generation sensor combines precision pressure sensing with robust digital communication in a compact, integration-friendly package.
The M25125 provides excellent low-speed sensitivity while maintaining accuracy at higher airspeeds, supporting measurements up to 65 m/s without saturation. Its improved linearity and resolution enable more reliable airspeed estimation across all phases of flight, from slow landing approaches to high-speed cruise.
An integrated absolute barometer adds onboard atmospheric pressure sensing, enabling redundant altitude data and enhancing estimator performance in autopilot systems. This dual-sensor design improves overall flight data reliability without adding system complexity.
When paired with a pitot tube, the differential pressure measurements can be used to accurately determine airspeed for flight control systems. The Section Blue module integrates both sensors with a native DroneCAN interface, providing robust, noise-immune communication and seamless compatibility with modern distributed avionics architectures.
